The project
AX Real Estate is the AX Group company that manages the group’s property portfolio in Malta, from landmark hotels and care facilities to residential and commercial spaces on the long and short-term lease markets. M7Alpha designed and built the AX Real Estate website, giving the company one place to present its properties, its values and its news. Below we look at how a property company’s website can speak to tenants and investors at the same time.
What is AX Real Estate?
AX Real Estate is a subsidiary of AX Group that acquires, manages and leases property in prime locations across Malta. Its website describes it as bringing the group’s managed properties together under one company, with high-specification homes and commercial spaces for rent and a portfolio of landmark buildings.
As AX Real Estate p.l.c., the company also has bonds listed on the Malta Stock Exchange. That gives the website a second, quite different audience: people who are not looking for a property to rent, but for reasons to trust the company behind them.
Who is the website written for?
The homepage states it in one sentence: individuals looking for a home to rent, and investors or companies looking for commercial space. Behind that sentence sit three groups, each with its own questions.
- Residential tenants want to know what kind of homes are available and who manages them.
- Businesses looking for offices or industrial space want quality, location and a reliable landlord.
- Investors want the company’s story, its leadership and its latest announcements.
Rather than build three separate journeys, we kept the structure short and let each section answer one group’s questions clearly.
How does the site present a portfolio of landmark properties?
The Holding Properties page shows the portfolio as a set of property cards, each with one line that says what makes the building distinct. The range is wide, and the page lets that range speak for itself.
Visitors see hotels from boutique properties in historic buildings to contemporary accommodation in Sliema, care and health facilities, a premium retirement village, a business headquarters, a multi-tenant industrial complex in Naxxar and a landmark building in the heart of Sliema. The homepage opens with video and highlights current developments, including Verdala Wellness Hotel and projects in Verdala and Qawra.
| Section | The visitor’s question it answers |
|---|---|
| Holding Properties | What does the company own and manage? |
| Properties For Lease | Can I rent a home or a commercial space, and what standard should I expect? |
| Our Story and Directors | Who runs the company, and what does it stand for? |
| News and Investor Information | What has the company announced recently? |
| Contact Us | How do I speak to someone? |
Why does the site give the company’s story so much space?
Because in property, trust is part of the product, and the people behind a company matter as much as its buildings.
The Our Story page sets out the mission, vision and values in short, plain statements: putting people at the centre, serving the community where a building sits, quality as the foundation, and honesty and integrity as the basis of sound business. A word from the CEO explains how the group’s real estate operations grew within the family business, and a separate Directors page introduces the board. For a tenant this is reassurance. For an investor it is essential reading.
How does the news section serve investors?
It gives company announcements a permanent, dated home that anyone can check.
The News page collects updates such as highlights from annual general meetings, the company’s bond listing event at the Malta Stock Exchange, the rebranding of a hotel to AX ODYCY and recognition for its properties. An Investor Information link in the main menu keeps that audience one click from the material it needs. Listed companies are expected to communicate openly, and a clear, chronological news archive is one of the simplest ways to show it.
What can other property companies learn from this project?
Write for the person deciding whether to trust you, not only the person browsing listings.
- Say in one sentence who you serve: tenants, businesses, investors or all three.
- Describe each property in a line that says what makes it different.
- Give your values and leadership a page of their own.
- Keep company news dated and easy to find.
- Put a phone number and email on every page.
Plain, structured pages also help AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity describe a property company accurately when someone asks about it. Our guide to AEO vs SEO vs GEO explains why.
