The project

Desira Properties’ website is the Desira group website at desiraholdings.com, where Desira Holdings presents its property developments in Malta and invites buyers to purchase directly from the developer. M7Alpha designed and built the site, and hosts and maintains it. Our wider work for Desira also covers branding, e-commerce and a custom internal system. This case study focuses on the property website and how it makes the case for buying direct.

What is the Desira group website for?

It introduces Desira Holdings as a property developer and gives buyers a direct route to its homes, without an estate agent in between.

According to the site, the group develops residential communities, commercial centres and mixed-use projects, with an emphasis on sustainability, from eco-friendly materials to renewable energy solutions. Its office is at the Central Business Centre on Mdina Road, Żebbuġ. The website’s title also names the other businesses in the Desira group: i360, Desira Solutions, FortFitness, EcoRepsil, EcoScreed, EcoDream and Oak & Living.

Why build the site around buying direct?

Buying straight from the developer is the group’s clearest difference, so the website puts it first.

The homepage opens with the line “Shaping future living environments” and moves straight to the direct-purchase promise, written in an informal, plain-speaking voice: real homes, straight from the source, no middlemen. Featured listings follow immediately, so a visitor who likes the idea can see what is available without searching for it. Short, bold headings and a clear order keep that conversational tone easy to scan on a phone, where many property searches start.

How is the website organised?

The site keeps to a short menu of four sections plus the homepage, each answering one question a buyer asks.

Page The buyer’s question it answers
Home Why buy from Desira, and what is available now?
Projects Which developments are on offer, and how are they finished?
Past What has Desira already built?
About Us Who is the developer, and what does it stand for?
Get In Touch How do I ask a question or speak to someone?

Separating current projects from past ones matters for a developer. Current listings are what a buyer can act on today, while past projects show a track record. Mixing them would make both harder to read.

How does the site build trust with buyers?

It gives buyers plain reasons, practical details and an easy way to ask questions.

Buying a home from a developer, especially before it is finished, asks for a lot of trust. The About Us page sets out the group’s story and vision, then four short reasons to choose Desira:

  • Prime locations: developments in established communities with amenities close by.
  • Modern design: contemporary architecture with a nod to the traditional.
  • Better value: quality and affordability together.
  • Transparency: open, honest communication at every step.

The listings add the practical detail buyers look for, such as the note that apartments are offered fully finished. Contact details, including address, phone and email, appear in the footer of every page, along with a “Need help? Talk with us” prompt.

How does the site keep buyers interested between projects?

A sign-up for future development updates appears on every page, so interested buyers can hear about the next project as soon as it is announced.

Property decisions take time, and many visitors are not ready to buy the day they find the site. A simple mailing list turns a passing visit into an ongoing relationship, and it gives the developer an audience to tell when new homes come on the market.

What can other property developers learn?

Lead with your main difference, show what is for sale straight away, keep current and past projects apart, and give buyers a reason to stay in touch. Plain, factual pages also help when buyers turn to AI. When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or Perplexity whether they can buy an apartment in Malta directly from a developer, those assistants look for websites that say so clearly.

Frequently asked questions

Who designed the Desira Properties website?

M7Alpha Creative Studios, a web design, development and branding agency in Żurrieq, Malta, designed and built the Desira group website at desiraholdings.com, which serves as the website for Desira Properties. M7Alpha also hosts and maintains the site.

Can you buy property directly from Desira Holdings?

Yes. The Desira group website presents its developments for direct purchase from the developer rather than through an estate agent, with current listings on the Projects page and a Get In Touch page for enquiries.

What should a property developer's website include?

Current developments with clear details, a separate page of past projects, a short explanation of who the developer is and why buyers should trust it, contact details on every page, and a way to sign up for news of future projects.

Should each development have its own page?

Yes. A dedicated page per development lets the developer show plans, finishes and availability in one place, and gives search engines and AI assistants a clear page to point to when someone asks about homes in that area.
