The project

FreshFolds is a laundry service that collects from your door anywhere in Malta and brings everything back clean and folded. M7Alpha created the FreshFolds brand identity and logo and designed and built its website, which launched in summer 2025. The business is part of the Bajada Lyons Group and serves two very different customers: households and businesses such as hotels, spas, restaurants and offices.

What was the challenge?

The challenge was to launch a brand-new service in a category people rarely think about until they need it. Laundry is practical and everyday, so the brand had to feel trustworthy and premium without becoming cold, and the website had to explain a new way of doing an old chore in seconds.

There was a second challenge: two audiences. A household wants convenience and care for its clothes. A hotel or restaurant wants reliability, punctual schedules and clean linen at volume. The brand and the website needed to speak to both without confusing either.

How did we create the FreshFolds brand?

We built the identity around the two ideas in the name: freshness and folding. The logo mark is a neat stack of folded laundry with a small sparkle of freshness, paired with a confident wordmark in deep navy and a light, spaced-out “Laundry” descriptor.

  • Colour: a deep navy for trust and reliability, supported by soft whites and light blues that suggest cleanliness.
  • Typography: a modern, rounded sans-serif that feels friendly but professional, so it works on a van, a laundry bag and a hotel invoice.
  • Tone: calm and confident, with a short promise that sums up the service: perfectly fresh, effortlessly done.

You can read more about why a brand is more than its logo in our article on branding vs logo.

How does the website explain the service?

The homepage explains FreshFolds in three numbered steps, directly under the opening headline, so nobody has to wonder how it works:

  1. Book your pickup online: choose a time that suits you, with no app to install.
  2. Free doorstep collection: laundry bags are included and the team collects from your home or business.
  3. Fresh, folded delivery: everything comes back cleaned, neatly folded and ready to put away.

We kept the site to a single, well-ordered page with sections for the service promise, what FreshFolds does for homes and for businesses, frequently asked questions and contact details. For a new service with one clear action, a focused page is often easier to use than a large site with many places to get lost.

How does one website serve both homes and businesses?

The services section splits into two clear cards, one for homes and one for businesses, each written for its reader.

For your home For your business
What is cleaned Personal garments, bedding, delicates Bed linen, towels, tablecloths, uniforms
What matters most Convenience and care for clothes Punctual, scheduled, reliable supply
Who it suits Busy households across Malta Hotels, spas, restaurants and offices

Both cards lead to the same simple enquiry, so the site stays easy to use while still showing each audience that FreshFolds understands its needs.

Why does the website work well on mobile?

Most people will meet FreshFolds on their phone, often from a social post or a search for laundry pickup in Malta. On mobile the phone number sits at the top, the three steps stack into easy cards and the main buttons are full width, so booking a pickup takes a couple of taps.

What makes a new service website easy to find and recommend?

Clarity. Search engines and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity recommend businesses whose websites state plainly what they do, where and for whom. The FreshFolds page says it in its first lines: free laundry pickup and delivery anywhere in Malta, for homes and businesses. A short FAQ section answers the practical questions people ask before trying a new service. Our guide to AEO vs SEO vs GEO explains why this kind of plain, structured content matters.

Should a new service business start with a one-page website?

Often, yes. If the business has one main action, such as booking a pickup, a well-structured single page with clear steps, services, FAQs and contact details can work better than a large site. More pages can be added as the business grows.

How much does a branding and website project cost in Malta?
