Case study
The Londoner Hotels
The Londoner Hotels are two three-star hotels in Malta, The Londoner St Julian's with 62 rooms and The Londoner Sliema with 51 rooms. M7Alpha designed and built their website, which presents both hotels under one brand, gives each its own page and keeps a booking button and availability search in view throughout.

The project
The Londoner Hotels are two modern three-star hotels in two of Malta’s busiest areas: The Londoner St Julian’s, with 62 rooms in the shopping and business district, and The Londoner Sliema, with 51 rooms close to the promenade. M7Alpha designed and built their website. This case study looks at how one site presents two hotels clearly and keeps booking within reach.
How do you present two hotels on one website?
Give the brand one home and each hotel its own page. The homepage introduces The Londoner Hotels as a pair, explains what each location offers in a few lines, and sends visitors to the hotel that suits their trip. A Locations menu at the top leads straight to The Londoner St Julian’s or The Londoner Sliema.
| The Londoner St Julian’s | The Londoner Sliema | |
|---|---|---|
| Rooms | 62 | 51 |
| Setting | Shopping and business district, near Spinola Bay, St George’s Bay and Paceville | Steps from the Sliema promenade, Tigné Point and the Sliema Ferries |
| Suits | Business travellers and guests who want nightlife and dining nearby | Guests who want the seafront, shopping and an easy ferry to Valletta |
Why does location matter so much on a hotel website?
For a city hotel, the neighbourhood is a large part of what guests are buying. Each hotel page explains what is within walking distance, from beaches and waterfront dining to business towers and the ferry, so guests can picture their stay before they compare rooms or prices. The homepage also has short guides to St Julian’s and Sliema for visitors who have not yet chosen an area.
How does the site make booking easy?
Booking is never more than a click away. An availability search on the homepage lets guests choose a hotel and dates straight away, and a Book Now button stays in the header on desktop and fixed at the bottom of the screen on mobile, where most hotel searches start.
What else does the website cover?
Supporting pages answer the practical questions guests ask before arriving:
- Dining: the breakfast service at each hotel, described clearly as breakfast only.
- Experiences: ideas for exploring Malta and taxi transfers for guests.
- What’s On: events and news around the hotels.
- About Us: the story and values behind The Londoner brand.
- Contact Us: how to reach each hotel directly.
What other hotel groups can take from this project
- One brand, separate pages: let each property be found on its own while sharing a single identity.
- Sell the neighbourhood: nearby attractions often decide a booking.
- Keep booking visible: a persistent button, especially on mobile.
- Be honest about facilities: clear wording such as breakfast only avoids disappointed guests.

How much does a hotel website cost in Malta?
It depends on the number of pages, features such as booking, listings or forms, and how ready the content and photography are. Our guide on how much a website costs in Malta explains what drives the price.
