The project

TC Engineering is a Malta-based engineering company, part of the Bajada Lyons Group, that delivers consultancy, design and integrated project services for industrial plants and facilities in sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, and food and beverage. M7Alpha designed and built the company’s website at tcmalta.com. This case study looks at a particular challenge: presenting deep technical expertise so that both specialists and decision-makers can follow it.

What made this website a challenge?

The challenge was to explain a very technical offer without either hiding the detail or drowning visitors in it. TC Engineering works on facilities where compliance, hygiene and containment really matter, and the people who choose an engineering partner for that work range from quality managers and engineers to directors and facility owners.

An engineer wants to see the exact activities covered, in the terms they use every day. A director wants to know quickly whether the company can take on the whole project. The website had to satisfy both readers on the same page.

How did we organise a technical offer?

We split the offer into three lenses, so each visitor can approach it from the angle that matters to them: what the company does, who it works for, and how it works.

Section The visitor’s question it answers
Services Can they deliver what my project needs? (Consultancy and Engineering, Commissioning and Qualification, Containment and Monitoring, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability)
Sectors Do they understand my industry? (Life sciences, healthcare, food and beverage, retail, hospitality)
In-House Solutions What tools and methods do they use? (BIM, laser scanning and a Common Data Environment, CFD, process simulation, 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality)
About Us Who are they, and how do they approach sustainability?
Insights and Careers What are they working on, and can I join them?

The homepage brings the three lenses together. It opens with a short statement of what TC Engineering is, explains its turnkey service as a general contractor and its digital design workflow, then introduces the four services, the five sectors and the six in-house solutions in turn.

How do the service pages handle technical detail?

Each service page starts with a plain one-line promise and then lists the detailed activities as short, scannable bullets.

The Commissioning and Qualification page, for example, explains in two sentences that the aim is to confirm facilities, utilities and equipment work as designed and as regulation requires. Underneath, specialists find the specifics they look for, such as walkdowns, FAT and SAT support, validation master plans and DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ protocols. The Consultancy and Engineering page follows the same pattern, from site evaluation and master planning through to feasibility, concept, basic and detailed design.

This layered approach means a director can read the opening lines and move on, while an engineer can check that the exact scope they need is covered.

Why give each in-house solution its own page?

Separate pages turn the company’s tools into evidence of how it works, rather than a list of buzzwords.

CFD modelling, laser scanning and BIM, process simulation and virtual reality each have a short explanation of what they are used for, such as checking airflow in cleanrooms or spotting design issues before construction. Giving each one its own page also helps search engines and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity match TC Engineering to specific questions, for example who offers CFD modelling or BIM coordination in Malta. Our guide on AEO vs SEO vs GEO explains why this kind of focused, factual page matters.

How does the site turn interest into a conversation?

An enquiry form sits at the end of the homepage and the service pages, so a visitor who has found what they need can get in touch without looking for a contact page.

The footer repeats the four services and the main sections on every page, and a cookie preferences panel lets visitors choose how their data is used. On mobile, the long service lists stack into easy, readable blocks, so the site works just as well for someone checking a capability between site visits.

What can other engineering firms learn from this project?

Technical buyers reward clarity and precision together. For an engineering or industrial company:

  • Lead with one plain sentence that says what you do and for whom.
  • Separate services, sectors and tools, so visitors can approach your offer from their own angle.
  • Use the industry’s own terms in the detail, so specialists can confirm your scope.
  • Give each capability its own page, which helps both people and AI search.
  • Keep an enquiry route on every key page.

Frequently asked questions

Who designed the TC Engineering website?

M7Alpha Creative Studios, a web design, development and branding agency in Żurrieq, Malta, designed and built the TC Engineering website at tcmalta.com.

How should an engineering company present technical services online?

Start each service with one plain sentence that a non-specialist understands, then list the detailed activities in the terms engineers use. Separate pages for services, sectors and tools let each visitor find the angle that matters to them.

Should an engineering website have a page for each sector it serves?

Yes, where the work genuinely differs by sector. A life sciences client and a hospitality client care about different things, and a dedicated section shows each of them that you understand their regulations and priorities.

How much does a website for an engineering company in Malta cost?

It depends on the number of services, sectors and pages, and on how much technical content needs to be structured. Our guide on how much a website costs in Malta explains the main factors.
