Branding vs logo: what a brand identity actually includes
A logo is one mark; a brand identity is the full system around it. Here is what a brand identity includes and when you need a full project or a refresh.
Head of Marketing
Lee joined M7Alpha in 2017 and heads its marketing department. He leads the studio’s marketing work from strategy to execution, and heads the content and creative team that writes, designs and produces it.
His focus is tying marketing to business results: working out who a client needs to reach, what will persuade them and which channels are worth the budget, then turning that into campaigns, content and social media that keep working month after month.
Because the marketing team sits in the same studio as the designers and developers, Lee works alongside them on client accounts, so that a business’s website, brand and campaigns tell the same story and are planned together rather than by separate agencies.
Before M7Alpha, Lee worked in SEO content and in PR and communications. That background shapes the studio’s content today, which is written to rank in search and, increasingly, to be quoted by AI assistants.
Responsibilities
Plans each client’s marketing around their goals, audience and budget, and agrees how success will be measured.
Leads campaigns from the idea and the messaging through to launch, across social media and digital advertising.
Heads the team that produces copy, visuals and posts for client brands, keeping every piece on brand.
Runs ongoing social media for client brands, from content planning to publishing and community management.
Makes sure website and blog content is written to rank on Google and to be cited by AI assistants.

Yes. The marketing team plans, creates and manages social media and campaigns for client brands on an ongoing basis, or for a single launch. Get in touch from the contact page to talk it through.
The marketing, design and development teams work in the same studio, so campaigns, content and websites are planned together. That avoids the gaps that appear when a website and its marketing are handled by different agencies.
